Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) fill an important role in the healthcare system, providing more than 65% of all anesthetics delivered in the country today.
The Frank J. Tornetta School of Anesthesia was founded in 1951 to prepare CRNAs. To date, more than 350 graduates of the School are in practice around the country. Prospective students are nurses who have completed a BSN and who hold a current R.N. license in Pennsylvania and who have a minimum of one year nursing experience in an acute care setting. The 45 credit course of study takes approximately 30 months to complete and is offered in cooperation with La Salle University School of Nursing.

Montgomery Hospital has provided the setting for a community based family practice residency program since 1978. Program highlights include affiliation with Temple University School of Medicine. The program is a regular clinical family practice clerkship site for third and fourth year medical students from Temple University and Hahneman University schools of medicine.
Montgomery's program offers residents a rigorous curriculum schedule for broad-based experience in both inpatient and outpatient care. The program also provides residents with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Operating from a dedicated 11,000 square foot center with exam rooms and office space for twelve faculty members, the space offers the convenience of on site classrooms, meeting rooms, and a dedicated library.
