Montgomery Hospital provides short-term inpatient treatment for patients suffering from acute mental health problems. Our inpatient behavioral health program, 2 West, is a 19-bed unit providing inpatient treatment for adult experiencing acute psychiatric difficulties requiring hospitalization.
Using a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach under the direction of a physician, the program utilizes the expertise of mental health nurses, social workers and other professionals who help patients deal with emotional problems so that they may functionally return to their community. Because the unit is part of Montgomery Hospital Medical Center, our patients have access to consultant medical specialists when needed.
