Aquatic Therapy Program
A unique feature of Montgomery Hospital Medical Center is our 25 meter therapeutic pool heated to a comfortable 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The pool is just 4-1/2 feet deep, an ideal level for exercise.
From arthritis to back injury, Aquatic Therapy is ideal for a variety of medical conditions. Water is naturally buoyant, reducing the effect of gravity on the body. As a result, patients can move more easily and perform exercises in the water. Improved mobility and activity levels help build strength and enhance a patient's ability to meet his or her recovery goals. Conditions that can benefit from this therapy include:
