Montgomery Hospital Medical Center is a 177-bed comprehensive community hospital, staffed by more than 1,000 health care professionals, who meet the needs of approximately 10,000 inpatients and more than 100,000 outpatients each year. The hospital has a 122-year history in the central Montgomery County community and is the largest private sector employer in the Norristown area.

The hospital's specialty services include a spacious  Fast Track Emergency Department, dedicated to the medical needs of non-critical emergency visitors; Sleep Laboratory, accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine; Joint Commission accredited home care and hospice services; Women’s Center, offering DEXA scan bone density studies, digital mammography, perinatology and stereotactic breast biopsies.

Montgomery's comprehensive Cancer Program offers onsite medical, surgical and radiation oncology services. Patients also have access to genetic counseling, support services and the latest clinical trials. In 2010, the program further enhanced its cancer services opening The Karabots Center for Radiation Oncology featuring RapidArc technology to deliver the fastest, most precisde radiation therapy treatments available today.  Our Interventional Radiology Associates perform minimally invasive procedures to provide relief for a variety of conditions. The hospital features a state-of-the-art interventional radiology suite, offering such minimally invasive procedures as uterine fibroid embolization, percutaneous vertebroplasty for compression fractures, treatments for vascular diseases, cancer therapies and laser vein therapy.

The Cardiac Catheterization Lab on Montgomery's campus is affiliated with Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. The center features the Innova all-digital cardiovascular imaging system by GE Medical Systems. The advanced technology is leading edge for both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary angioplasty and coronary stenting.  Utlizing an interdisciplinary team approach, our emergency department and cardiac cath lab teams consistently outperform state and national benchmarks for treating heart attacks.
